When did Esse2 begin?

-
What is "a Lume" technique and what do we create with it?
It’s a traditional technique that involves shaping molten glass using a copper rod and an open flame, known as the cannello.
We use this method to create classic Venetian glass beads, enriched with 24K gold and silver leaf, which we incorporate into our Murano glass jewelry. We also produce handmade accessories such as bottle stoppers, corkscrews, and small utensils. -
What is blown glass and what do we create with it?
Blown glass is an ancient traditional technique from the island of Murano, used to shape molten glass by blowing air through a canna da soffio.
In our furnace, we use this method to create classic Murano goti, as well as glasses, bowls, vases, and decorative objects, all entirely handmade. -
What is a "goto"?
The goto is the traditional drinking glass used by Murano glassmasters in the furnace. Made from blown glass—often colorful and simply decorated—it was originally a practical object for drinking while working. Over time, it has become a collectible and design piece, with each goto being unique, shaped freely by the artisan’s hand.
